SAP Licensing Experts provides independent advisory services to enterprise organisations on matters relating to SAP software licensing. Our core service lines include:
Our Services are advisory in nature. We provide analysis, recommendations, and negotiation support. Final commercial and contractual decisions rest with you. We do not act as your legal counsel and our Services do not constitute legal advice. Where legal advice is required, you should engage a qualified solicitor.
SAP Licensing Experts provides expert commercial and licensing advisory. Our advisors have extensive SAP licensing expertise, including former SAP executives, auditors, and contract managers. However, our Services do not constitute legal advice. For formal legal opinions or litigation support, please engage qualified legal counsel.
Our independence from SAP SE and the SAP reseller ecosystem is the foundation of our value to clients. We operate exclusively on the buyer side. This means:
We maintain this independence as a matter of policy and professional integrity. If you have any concerns about a potential conflict of interest, please contact us before engaging our Services. We will disclose any relevant circumstances and work with you to determine whether an engagement is appropriate.
You may access and use this Website for lawful purposes in connection with evaluating or engaging our Services, conducting research on SAP licensing matters, and accessing our educational Content. You may share links to our Content, quote brief extracts with attribution, and download publicly available resources for personal or internal business use.
You may not use this Website in any way that:
We take care to ensure the Content on this Website is accurate and current. However, SAP licensing is a complex and rapidly evolving field. SAP product structures, pricing, licence types, and contractual terms change frequently. Content published on this Website reflects our understanding at the time of writing and should not be relied upon as a substitute for specific professional advice on your circumstances. Before making significant commercial decisions about your SAP estate, engage our advisory services or another qualified specialist.
Our free tools are provided for indicative purposes only. Outputs from any calculator, estimator, or assessment tool on this Website are based on the inputs you provide and general assumptions about SAP licensing structures. They do not constitute a formal licence analysis and should not be relied upon as accurate representations of your specific compliance position or contract value.
All professional advisory Services are provided under a written Engagement Agreement executed between SAP Licensing Experts and the Client. No advisory Services commence until an Engagement Agreement is signed by both parties. Preliminary consultations, scoping calls, and proposals are provided without charge and do not constitute the commencement of a formal engagement.
The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and commercial terms for each engagement are set out in the relevant Engagement Agreement. We deliver the Services described in that agreement with reasonable skill and care. Our obligations are limited to the scope defined therein. Any additional work requested outside that scope will be subject to a separate agreement or change order.
To enable us to deliver our Services effectively, Clients agree to:
We are not responsible for delays, inaccuracies, or shortfalls in our deliverables that result from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the Client.
Our pricing is set out on our website and in individual Engagement Agreements. Fees are payable in accordance with the payment schedule in the relevant Engagement Agreement. We reserve the right to suspend Services where payment is materially overdue and all outstanding amounts have not been resolved within 30 days of written notice.
While our advisors bring substantial expertise and a strong track record in SAP licensing negotiations and audit defence, we cannot guarantee specific commercial outcomes. SAP audit claims, contract negotiations, and licensing analyses involve third parties whose decisions we do not control. Our Services are advisory in nature and our engagement does not guarantee any particular settlement value, compliance position, or negotiation result.
We treat all information received from prospective and active Clients with strict confidentiality. We will not disclose your organisation's SAP environment details, contract terms, compliance position, or any other commercially sensitive information to any third party without your prior written consent, except where required by law or compelled by a court order of competent jurisdiction.
Formal Engagement Agreements include specific confidentiality provisions appropriate to the nature of the engagement. We will execute non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) on request before any substantive discussion of your SAP licensing circumstances.
We may, with appropriate anonymisation, refer to the general nature of advisory work completed (e.g. "achieved 30% cost reduction in RISE contract negotiation for a European manufacturing client") for marketing and case study purposes. We will not name your organisation or disclose identifying details without your written consent. If you prefer that we make no reference whatsoever to our engagement, please indicate this in your Engagement Agreement.
All Content on this Website — including articles, guides, tools, methodologies, frameworks, and analytical approaches — is the intellectual property of SAP Licensing Experts unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, republish, or commercially exploit our Content without prior written permission.
You are welcome to share links to our Content, quote brief extracts (no more than 200 words from any single article) with clear attribution to SAP Licensing Experts and a link to the original, and download publicly available resources for your own internal, non-commercial use.
Upon full payment of all fees under an Engagement Agreement, Clients receive a non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, and internally distribute the written deliverables produced under that engagement (including reports, analyses, and recommendations) for their own internal business purposes. Background intellectual property and proprietary methodologies employed in producing those deliverables remain the property of SAP Licensing Experts.

Website content is provided "as is". While we work to keep information accurate and current, we make no warranty, express or implied, regarding the completeness, accuracy, fitness for purpose, or non-infringement of any Content on this Website. SAP licensing terms, product structures, and contractual frameworks change regularly. Do not rely solely on Website Content for commercial decisions without obtaining specific professional advice.
We do not warrant that:
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SAP Licensing Experts shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this Website or its Content, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, or damage to reputation — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our liability in connection with advisory Services provided under an Engagement Agreement is subject to the limitations set out in that agreement. In the absence of specific provisions, our aggregate liability to a Client arising from any engagement shall not exceed the total fees paid by that Client under the relevant Engagement Agreement during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for certain types of damage. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. If you are accessing this Website from outside England and Wales, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SAP Licensing Experts, its advisors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:
This Website may contain links to third-party websites, publications, or resources for informational purposes. These include links to SAP documentation, analyst reports, industry publications, and other reference materials. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content, accuracy, or availability of any third-party websites or resources.
Our inclusion of a link to a third-party resource does not imply that we endorse the views expressed therein, or that the resource is free from error. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party websites you visit.
Where we link to SAP documentation or SAP SE materials, this is for reference purposes only and does not imply any affiliation with, or endorsement by, SAP SE.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to this Website at any time, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or are using the Website in a way that could cause harm to us, other users, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Website ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will remain in effect.
Termination rights for formal advisory engagements are governed by the relevant Engagement Agreement. In the absence of specific provisions, either party may terminate an engagement on thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, you are responsible for fees accrued up to the termination date for work completed or in progress. Where we terminate an engagement due to Client breach, all outstanding fees become immediately payable.
These Terms of Service and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms, except that we may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any jurisdiction as necessary to protect our intellectual property or confidential information.
Where a dispute arises in connection with a formal advisory engagement, the parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiation before commencing formal proceedings. If the matter cannot be resolved within 30 days of written notice of the dispute, either party may refer the matter to court or to mediation as agreed.
If you have a concern about our Services or this Website, we encourage you to contact us directly in the first instance. Most concerns can be resolved quickly through direct communication.
We review these Terms periodically and may update them to reflect changes in our Services, applicable law, or our operating practices. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Where changes are significant, we may also notify active Clients directly.
Your continued use of this Website after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree with updated Terms, please cease using the Website and, if applicable, notify us in writing to terminate your engagement in accordance with Section 13.
We recommend that you review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any updates. The current version will always be available at saplicensingexperts.com/terms/. Historical versions are available on request.
